Green Infrastructure

Green infrastructure planning at all scales, providing a comprehensive evidence base which includes socio-economic analysis and GIS. Delivering green infrastructure planning, green infrastructure evidence and intelligence at regional, district, community and development site scale.

Local Plan Evidence

A range of services to support Local Plans, including green infrastructure strategies, open space assessments and strategies and meeting obligations of the Habitats Regulations, including Strategic Access Management Plans for Natura 2000 sites.

Funding and Heritage Lottery Fund

A track record of successful funding bids and support for your funding application, with particular experience in Heritage Lottery Fund applications (Stage 1 and Stage 2), including audience development, interpretation planning and evaluation.

Engagement and Consultation

Services to support meaningful engagement with communities and your stakeholders, including workshops, focus groups, surveys (online and face to face), depth interviews and other techniques, including project planning to ensure you get the outcomes you need.

Nature Conservation

Ecological, habitat and site management planning and advice, Habitat Regulations requirements and strategic access monitoring and mitigation plans, surveys, enhanced phase 1 surveys and BREEAM services.

Green Spaces and Access

Management plans for country parks and green spaces, including to support Green Flag applications, options appraisals and market positioning, strategies for parks or country park services and open space assessments for Local Plans. Access plans and rights of way improvement plans, condition surveys and access promotion.

About Sharon Bayne

BSc (Hons) MSc LLM CEnv MCIEEM Director

Sharon is an environmental professional of over 25 years standing, with a background in nature conservation and ecology. She has broadened this experience to include strategic and spatial planning, recreation, tourism, regeneration, environmental law, community development and stakeholder engagement. She has been a full member of the Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management since 2002 and is a Chartered Environmentalist. She holds two Masters degrees: in ecological restoration by research (MSc) and a Master of Laws degree in Environmental Law and Management (Distinction). Her LLM explored the role of biodiversity offsetting within the Town and Country Planning System and the role of strategic environmental planning.

The multi-disciplinary nature and depth of Sharon’s experience means that she brings a comprehensive understanding of a range of areas to all projects, alongside scientific and methodological rigour. She is accomplished in writing clear, well-presented reports which convey complex matters in an easy-to-read format.
